The role

We are structuring and strengthening our Product department. We are looking for one/one Technical Product Analyst to act as a true technical-functional hinge between the market (farmers, partners, OEMs) and our R&D team. In this role you will not just collect the “desiderata” of the business, but you will be the “system designer” before the code is written. Your job will be to take a complex requirement, break it down, and translate it into detailed system specifications that span our entire ecosystem (from the on-board sensor, to the communication protocol, to the Cloud interface).

Main responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis and Customer Interface: Gather business needs and inefficiencies in the field and turn them into measurable system requirements.
• Technical Product Definition (System Analysis): Translate requirements into detailed analysis ready for development. Write functional and technical specifications, define flowcharts, edge cases, error handling and expected behavior in complex scenarios (e.g., loss of connectivity of agricultural machinery).
• Defining “Data Contracts”: Establishing, at the conceptual and specification level, how data travel between Firmware, App and Cloud (e.g., defining payloads, data mapping, requirements for APIs or communication protocols).
• Synergy with Engineering Manager and R&D: Work closely with the Software Manager. You will provide the complete system technical analysis (the what the system needs to do and the constraints), while the development team will handle the architectural implementation.
• Testing Support (UAT): Verify that the developed product meets not only the business need but also the agreed technical and flow specifications.

Requirements and Skills

• Technical-Analytical Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Management) or proven technical experience preferred.
• System Integration Skills: Familiarity with IoT architectures. You must know how to read and structure a JSON file, understand the basic operation of REST APIs and databases, and have notions of communication protocols (e.g., CAN bus, MQTT, Bluetooth) used between machines and the cloud.
• Communication and Translation: Ability to speak both the language of the end customer (to understand the real need) and the strictly technical language of the developers (to provide precise documentation, wireframes, and UML diagrams/sequence flows).
• Problem Solving Aptitude: Ability to predict critical system issues before they reach development (e.g., latency, offline management, battery consumption).
