Dinamica Generale Poggese kicks off. The comeback season begins.

POGGIO RUSCO. It takes real courage, one might think while passing through Via Garibaldi around 6 p.m., to run and jump in such high temperatures.

In fact, the first training session of Dinamica Generale at the local sports hall, marking the start of the 2009/2010 season for Poggio Rusco basketball, coincides with a significant heatwave and is one of the earliest preseason gatherings among all competing teams. However, what clearly stands out is the desire to definitively put last season behind them, the hunger for redemption, and the ambition to face the new championship no longer as outsiders but as protagonists, aiming to secure a stable position in the upper half of the standings.

Achieving this goal alone would already represent a success for a team that, now in its fourth year in Serie C1, has so far had to fight for survival through the play-outs. Added to this is the novelty of a new sponsor, which will undoubtedly motivate everyone to make a strong impression.

This evening, under the guidance of head coach “Toto” Tinti, supported by assistant coach Luigi Gilberti and strength and conditioning coach Parisi, Dinamica Generale will welcome the new arrivals (Grazi, Tedeschini, and Augusto) and begin its preseason work. Justified absences include under-20 guard Stefano Truzzi and Francesco Gabrielli.
